Job Summary
Join a forward-thinking and internationally active engineering services company as an Automation Technology PLC Software Developer. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, extending, and optimizing PLC programs for Siemens controllers, integrating fieldbus systems like Profibus and Profinet, and implementing controls in industrial machine construction using S7/TIA Portal. You will also create interface applications for higher and lower-level systems, develop software for complex machinery in the metals sector, and conduct commissioning at customer sites both domestically and internationally. This position offers an unlimited contract, 30 days of vacation, and diverse development opportunities within a highly motivated team.
Required Skills
Education
Completed degree or technical education in Automation, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or Computer Science
Experience
- At least 3 years in the conception, development, and programming of PLC controllers
- Professional experience with Siemens Step7/TIA Portal
- Professional experience with industrial bus systems (Profinet / Profibus)
- Experience in project planning and programming of visualizations
