Job Summary
As a PLC Commissioning Engineer, you will be instrumental in developing and implementing automation solutions. Your daily tasks will involve creating new programs using TIA Portal, adapting existing programs in Simatic Step 7 to ensure smooth process operations, and commissioning systems both at the Emden facility and at international client sites. You will also provide professional remote support to customers via phone or online connections and be responsible for programming and parameterizing SEW drive technology (B- and C-generation). Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training as an Electrician, PLC Technician, Mechatronics Engineer, or comparable qualification
Experience
- Professional experience with TIA Portal (SCL and FUP) and Step 7
- Experience in decentralized periphery and ProfiNet/ProfiBus bus systems
- Basic knowledge of drive technology

- Valid work permit; Class B (or 3) driving license; Willingness to travel internationally for commissioning; Located in or willing to relocate to Emden
