Job Summary
Join AZUR SPACE Solar Power GmbH, a European market leader in III/V multi-junction solar cells, as a Measurement Technology Development Engineer. In this role, you will be instrumental in developing and enhancing measurement techniques for solar cells and optoelectronic components, including advancing solar simulator methodologies and organizing calibration standards. You will also be responsible for projecting and procuring new measurement tools, designing supporting components, and transitioning new methods into production. This position offers a unique opportunity to work with cutting-edge high-technology products for the satellite industry, contribute to R&D projects, and potentially grow into a team lead role. The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in electrical and optical measurement technology, knowledge of solar cell physics, and programming experience.
Required Skills
Education
Completed university degree in Engineering (Electrical Engineering), Physics, or related fields
Experience
- Extensive professional experience in electrical and optical measurement technology
- Experience with the physics and characterization of (multi-junction) solar cells
- Programming experience with development tools (e.g., LabVIEW) is desirable
- Experience with CAD programs (e.g., SolidWorks)
- Professional experience with general PC knowledge (MS Office)
- Ability to quickly familiarize oneself with complex tasks
