This role involves leading an 8-person team across financial accounting, payroll, and grant management, playing a pivotal part in the financial steering of the organization. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with management on financial strategy, advise internal leaders, and drive the optimization of commercial processes to boost efficiency and quality, including developing liquidity planning. Key responsibilities also include overseeing accounting processes, monthly closings, controlling, and reporting, as well as ensuring timely and legally compliant payroll. The position requires a proactive, service-oriented individual with strong communication skills and a deep understanding of commercial processes and relevant legal frameworks. Required Skills
Education
University degree in Business Administration, Finance and Accounting, Controlling, or a comparable commercial qualification
Experience
- Professional experience in financial accounting, ideally also in payroll accounting and/or grant management
- Desirable experience in a leadership role
- Fundamentalknowledge of commercial, tax, social security, and wage tax law
- Desirable experience in grant and subsidy law
