SCHLEIFRING, a leader in innovative transmission technologies for over 50 years, is seeking a Head of IT Infrastructure to lead their IT Infrastructure team. This role involves comprehensive responsibility for all aspects of IT infrastructure, focusing on service orientation, user-friendliness, and internationalization. The successful candidate will drive the development and implementation of innovative solutions, manage multi-provider relationships, and evaluate new technologies. They will also be responsible for planning and leading infrastructure projects, ensuring IT security compliance, and fostering team competency and capacity development. Required Skills
Education
Degree in Information Technology or comparable qualifications
Experience
- Several years of professional experience in computer science, information technology, systems engineering, or infrastructure
- Experience in concept development
- Leadership experience, ideally in infrastructure
- Experience in the development, planning, and implementation of projects
- Ideally, certifications in ITIL and/or the described IT environment
