Job Summary

This role is for a dedicated Materials Tester in Altena, focusing on ensuring product quality through meticulous testing and documentation. Day-to-day, you will be responsible for testing and documenting measurements in ongoing production, coordinating schedules, and releasing approved parts for further processing. Key tasks include conducting tests using tensile testing machines, magnetic particle crack testing, as well as roundness, hardness, and roughness measurements. You will also handle customer complaints, derive improvement measures, and oversee the monitoring, registration, labeling, and calibration of material testing equipment. The ideal candidate will have a completed education as a Materials Tester, professional experience in materials testing, and a willingness to work in shifts.
