Job Summary
The Digitalization Coordinator will play a pivotal role in advancing the digital transformation within the International Affairs department of a university. This involves independently managing, implementing, and continuously developing digital applications, with a particular focus on optimizing the 'Mobility Online' program for efficient mobility administration. The role requires a proactive approach to developing innovative processes, analyzing and enhancing existing workflows to boost efficiency and quality, and independently designing, implementing, and testing interfaces within the student administration system. Additionally, the coordinator will be responsible for developing training systems and providing technical onboarding and support to all user groups. Close collaboration with the data center, partners, and international organizations like the EU and DAAD is essential. This position is ideal for someone with a strong background in IT, business informatics, or administration, coupled with practical experience in database management and digital tools, especially within a university setting.
Required Skills
Education
University degree (Bachelor or equivalent) in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Administrative Sciences, Business Administration, or a related field; or equivalent professional knowledge; or completed vocational training in an administrative, commercial, or IT-focused profession.
Experience
- At least five years of professional experience in fields related to the advertised position (if no university degree)
- Professional experience in configuring and supporting interfaces and databases
- Practical experience with databases and digital tools for mobility administration, especially Mobility Online
- Professional experience in process and project management
