Job Summary

This role is for an experienced EMC Engineer to lead and review electromagnetic compatibility design for rolling stock and subsystems, ensuring compliance with international standards and regulatory requirements. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing EMC measures in equipment layout, cabling, shielding, grounding, and filtering, as well as managing spectrum compatibility. Key responsibilities include designing and executing compatibility tests, diagnosing and mitigating EMI issues, and conducting full-vehicle EMC simulations. This position offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge railway R&D projects, collaborate with international teams, and contribute to the safety of staff and passengers regarding electromagnetic exposure. It requires a strong background in railway EMC standards and a willingness to travel for international collaboration.

Required Skills

Education

Master’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Vehicle Engineering, or related fields

Experience

  • Minimum 5 years of proven EMC experience in the railway or related industries
  • Professional experience with system- or vehicle-level project involvement
  • Hands-on experience in EMC testing, interference troubleshooting, and simulation using professional equipment and software
  • International project experience, preferably in China–Europe collaboration
