Job Summary
This role is for an ambitious Test Engineer specializing in battery systems, focusing on High Voltage (HV) batteries, as well as 12V and 48V systems, within the automotive industry. Day-to-day, you will be responsible for developing and enhancing generic test concepts, creating innovative test methods to shorten validation times, and devising new measurement techniques for electrical, geometric, and thermal testing. A key part of the role involves drafting test specifications for ongoing projects based on departmental parameters (lifecycle, properties, functions) and optimizing existing tests. The ideal candidate will have a background in electrical engineering or mechatronics, significant experience in automotive control unit development and testing, and a strong understanding of test specification creation.
