This role involves the independent project planning of electrical equipment, control, and guidance systems for industrial plants, with a specific focus on drive technology. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating customer-specific automation concepts, selecting and configuring hardware components, and developing software using Siemens SIMATIC S7, Win-CC, and TIA Portal. A significant part of the role includes commissioning industrial plants both domestically and internationally, with approximately 50-60% of the year spent on worldwide construction sites. Required Skills

Education

Degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Technology, or Mechatronics; or certified state-examined technician in Electrical or Automation Technology

Experience

Professional experience in plant automation, ideally for cold rolling mills and/or finishing lines
Expertise in PLC programming (Siemens TIA Portal, S7) and associated bus systems
Experience in drive control with single and multi-drive systems (SINAMICS S120)
