This Research Associate position at TU Dresden focuses on cutting-edge research in information processing using optical neural networks, specifically within the framework of a Reinhart Koselleck Excellence Project. The role involves investigating the physical transmission behavior of multimode fibers with novel diffractive multiplexers using Deep Learning, aiming for real-time, energy-efficient channel multiplexing. Day-to-day tasks include characterizing multimode optical fiber transmission, conducting experimental and simulated optical computing studies, and realizing diffractive optical elements for various multiplexing techniques.
