Job Summary
This role is for an IT Specialist Coordinator focusing on IT security and employee training within the Halberstadt city administration. The successful candidate will be a central point of contact for developing, implementing, and communicating IT security standards, ensuring compliance with current regulations like BSI-Grundschutz, ISO 27001, and GDPR. Key responsibilities include creating and maintaining IT security policies, designing and delivering training for both technical and non-technical users on topics like phishing and password security, and managing IT procurement, licensing, and contracts. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic team, continuously develop expertise in IT security, and contribute to the digital transformation of the city administration.
Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training as an IT Specialist, IT Systems Electronics Technician, IT Systems Management Assistant, or IT Management Assistant; OR a university degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, IT Security / Cybersecurity, Information Management, or related fields.
Experience
- 3+ years of professional experience with a completed vocational training as an IT Specialist, IT Systems Electronics Technician, IT Systems Management Assistant, or IT Management Assistant
- 2+ years of professional experience with a completed university degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, IT Security / Cybersecurity, Information Management, or related fields
- Practical professional experience in IT security, IT procurement, IT license/contract management, IT security concept development, and IT training conception and delivery
- Experience in IT project management and coordination
