This role is for a Development Engineer specializing in Power Electronics, focusing on switch-mode power supplies, current sources, and converters. The engineer will be deeply involved in the entire product development lifecycle, from initial concept to production, working on systems ranging from 100 W to 10 kW. Day-to-day tasks include analyzing technical requirements, system design, circuit design, and collaborating with various departments and external partners. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in analog and digital power electronics, microcontrollers, and potentially AutoCAD. Education

Successful completion of a degree (Dipl.-Ing., Bachelor of Science or Master of Science) in Electrical Engineering or a comparable field

  • Professional experience in microcontroller and DSP designs
  • Professional experience with power electronic components
  • Professional experience in transformer dimensioning, SMD, and PCB design
  • Initial experience in the design of switch-mode power supplies and switching regulator concepts
  • Experience in mechanics and construction (desirable)
  • Practical experience in EMC-compliant design and thermal management of electronic assemblies (desirable)
  • Knowledge in semiconductor technologies, manufacturing technologies and processes (desirable)
