Job Summary
This role involves ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of electrical and technical building systems for the Cologne Academy of Media Arts. The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring, testing, and troubleshooting electrical installations, coordinating maintenance, and overseeing external service providers. Key tasks include planning DGUV V3 compliant electrical inspections, performing minor repairs, supporting events, and assisting with procurement processes. Required Skills
Education
Completed technician training or completed electrical engineering training (e.g., electronics technician for energy and building technology, electrician, or equivalent)
Experience
- Professional experience in electrical engineering or a related field, combined with relevant further training (if not a certified technician)
- Experience in technical building management, ideally within the public sector or a university environment (desired)
- Driving experience with a Class B driver's license
