Job Summary
As a Quality Manager for gas-insulated switchgear, you will be responsible for ensuring that all internal and external standards for components and products are met. Your role involves developing and implementing a comprehensive quality strategy that includes both preventive and reactive measures. You will drive the timely achievement of strategic and operational goals, collaborating with international sites to establish quality standards and continuously refine relevant processes. This position requires a proactive approach to quality planning, root cause analysis, and risk minimization, working closely with various departments to implement preventive actions and support the international manufacturing network. This role offers the opportunity to shape the future of energy infrastructure by contributing to innovative and sustainable solutions.
Required Skills
Education
Master's degree in a technical field (e.g., Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Production Technology)
Experience
- Several years of professional experience in quality management, preferably in a manufacturing environment
- Professional experience in energy transmission
- Experience with digital methods and tools for data analysis
- Experience with common quality tools (8D, 5W, Ishikawa, statistical process evaluation, FMEA, Value Stream Mapping)
- Ideally, auditor training and experience with QM systems according to ISO 9001 or IATF 16949

- Readiness to travel occasionally for visits to suppliers or customers.
