Job Summary
This role is for a Geology Technician to join the Road Construction and Geotechnics department in Munich, focusing on maintaining Germany's highway infrastructure. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and monitoring of groundwater data loggers, as well as developing and constructing specialized measurement devices for ground and surface water. Key tasks include evaluating groundwater data for construction planning, performing plausibility checks, optimizing databases, and creating groundwater scenarios for hydrogeological reports using tools like QGIS. This position offers a chance to contribute to critical infrastructure projects, requiring strong hydrogeological knowledge, practical experience with groundwater measurement sites, and a willingness to work in the field.
Required Skills
Education
Completed training as a Water Management Specialist, completed advanced training as a Geology Technician, or comparable qualification. Alternatively, equivalent suitability acquired through professional experience.

- Professional experience in data entry and maintenance in internal databases
