Job Summary
This PhD position offers a talented scientist the opportunity to conduct cutting-edge research within the International PhD Programme (IPP) Mainz, focusing on "Molecular Mechanisms in Genome Stability & Gene Regulation." Specifically, the successful candidate will work on a project within the EURECA consortium, investigating the modulation of RNA modification in cancer using synthetic mRNA. The role involves developing immune-silent mRNA formulations to study gain-of-function effects of RNA modification enzymes, aiming to understand their link to cancer cell lines and potentially contribute to new diagnostic and therapeutic tools. This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious scientist to join a vibrant international community, gain advanced training, and collaborate across disciplines, including internships in Paris, Brussels, and Vienna.
