Job Summary

This role involves supporting the entire lifecycle of antenna systems for telecommunication payloads, from the proposal phase through implementation and into operations. Day-to-day, you'll be conducting link-budget analyses, developing digital payload approaches, and calculating antenna diagrams using specialized software. You'll also be responsible for specifying antennas, negotiating with suppliers, and developing innovative smart antenna concepts for multibeam missions. During implementation, you'll develop analog and digital antennas based on client specifications, support reviews, and manage electrical and mechanical interfaces. Post-launch, you'll plan and execute in-orbit RF tests and serve as the primary contact for payload antennas. This position offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge satellite technology, contribute to the full project lifecycle, and innovate in the field of intelligent antennas.

Required Skills

Education

Master's degree in High-Frequency or Telecommunication Engineering or equivalent qualification

Experience

  • Professional experience with antenna simulation tools (Grasp, STK, SatSoft)
  • Initial experience with antenna measurements in a CATR (compact antenna test range) is beneficial
