Job Summary
This role is for an IT Development and Test Project Coordinator to support an internal project team in developing test cases for a new SAP system, focusing on network construction and maintenance processes. Day-to-day tasks include coordinating IT system tests, executing and documenting test results, presenting findings to stakeholders, and developing process improvements. The coordinator will also contribute to the overall planning and documentation IT concept through digitalization and automation, and further develop process foundations using Confluence and Signavio. This position requires strong analytical and process-oriented thinking, self-organization, and independent work, making it ideal for a professional looking to contribute to critical IT infrastructure projects within a renowned network operator.
Required Skills
Education
Degree in Telecommunications Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, Applied Computer Science, Electrical Power Engineering, or Technician/Master qualification with relevant experience.
Experience
- Professional experience in telecommunications planning or operations, for example as an IT Development and Test Project Coordinator
- Experience with database applications and data analysis
- Prior knowledge of SAP/SAP-EAM is desirable
Languages
Additional
- Work location in Halle (Saale), Markleeberg, Chemnitz, or Kabelsketal. Option for home office up to 4 days/week after the initial 2-month onboarding period (max 1 day/week home office during onboarding). Required on-site work in Kabelsketal for specific system test periods (Sept-Oct 2025, Oct-Nov 2025). This is a temporary position until March 31, 2026, with an option for extension and permanent takeover.
