Job Summary
As an IT Automation Engineer, you will be instrumental in optimizing and advancing IT and automation solutions for 24/7 operations. Your day-to-day will involve analyzing requirements from various departments, developing and implementing high-availability software solutions, and taking ownership of complex automation system planning and continuous improvement. You'll conduct system tests, code reviews, and ensure the quality and maintainability of the codebase, collaborating with interdisciplinary project teams to deliver tailored solutions for manufacturing. Required Skills
Education
University degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Automation Technology, or a comparable field
Experience
- Professional experience in object-oriented programming, particularly C#, Java, Python
- Extensive experience with relational databases
- Proficient use of modern development tools and methods
- Solid understanding of system architectures and IT infrastructures
- Experience working with Linux and Windows environments and container technologies
- Practical experience in requirements engineering and complex system analysis
- Initial experience in agile project management and interdisciplinary team collaboration (advantageous)
