Job Summary

This role involves shaping the implementation of 525 kV HVDC underground cable solutions for a leading German transmission system operator, a key player in Germany's energy transition towards 100% renewables by 2032. The engineer will optimize cable routes, and ensure the technical and logistical feasibility, safety, and efficiency of cable installation. Day-to-day tasks include participating in approval processes, planning civil engineering measures, and acting as a technical interface to cable suppliers. The position requires a strong background in high-voltage engineering, particularly HVDC cable technology, and experience in cable system installation.
