Job Summary
This role involves building and operating an automation platform for recurring IT processes, focusing on enhancing efficiency through script development (Powershell, Ansible, Python). The engineer will be responsible for further developing existing service forms, integrating them directly into Zammad for ticket creation, AD triggers, and self-service workflows. A key part of the job is establishing self-service solutions for standard tasks like user creation and password resets, as well as optimizing central monitoring with automated alerts and ticketing. The position also supports the introduction of CI/CD approaches in system operations, offering a dynamic environment for someone with a strong innovative spirit and a knack for transforming complex processes into automated solutions.
Required Skills
Education
Completed (technical) university degree or vocational training in IT, or comparable qualification
Experience
- Several years of experience in IT process automation
- Very good knowledge in Powershell, Ansible, and Python
- Experience with ticket systems (e.g., Zammad)
- Experience with monitoring tools
Languages

- Security clearance required (Sicherheitsüberprüfungsgesetz - SÜG NRW)
