This role is for a Tandem Section Lead for the "IMIS Measurement Networks" within the Federal Office for Radiation Protection. The successful candidate will co-lead a team of approximately 50 employees across six locations, focusing on the operation and continuous development of the environmental radioactivity measurement network, which includes around 1,700 stations. Key responsibilities involve disciplinary leadership, technical oversight, budget and investment planning, and ensuring the reliability and quality of measurement systems. The position requires strategic thinking to address complex interdisciplinary issues in environmental radioactivity measurements and representing the BfS in national and international committees.
