Job Summary
This role is for an ambitious PLC Programmer specializing in plant engineering, focusing on international CAPEX Greenfield and Brownfield projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing project standards in PLC and SCADA programs, as well as conceptualizing, designing, programming, and visualizing control technology. Day-to-day tasks include process development, commissioning, and on-site deployment, with the expectation of independent project execution after an intensive onboarding period. This position offers the chance to work on innovative technologies, contribute ideas, and actively shape processes within a dynamic team, while also providing opportunities for professional and personal development.
Required Skills
Education
Degree in Automation Technology, Electrical Engineering, or comparable qualification
Experience
- Several years of experience in the conception and commissioning of PLC and SCADA systems
- Practical experience with Simatic S7 controllers
- Routine work with TIA Portal (preferably V16 or higher)
- Experience with large-scale plants in industries such as gypsum, cement, conveying technology, or wood industry
Languages
Additional
- Willingness to travel worldwide (10 weeks, twice a year)
