Job Summary
This full-time Service Technician role involves the installation, cabling, commissioning, and maintenance of various security solutions, including electronic article surveillance, video surveillance, customer counting, and access control systems. The ideal candidate will be responsible for independently commissioning new surveillance and security systems for retail clients, performing installations, service, and maintenance work, and meticulously documenting all activities. This position requires strong technical understanding, hands-on skills, and a customer-oriented approach, with daily travel within a 100 km radius. It offers an engaging and varied work environment within a motivated team, providing opportunities for professional development and growth.
Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training as an IT Technician, Mechatronics Technician, Electrician, IT Systems Electronics Technician, IT Specialist for System Integration, Electronics Technician, Electrical Engineer, Electrical Fitter, or comparable qualification.
Experience
- At least 2 years of professional experience in technical field service
- Experience in video and security technology (advantageous, but open to new professionals)

- Class B driving license; ability to work at heights (e.g., on ladders); comfortable using power tools (e.g., drill); daily travel within 100 km radius (rare overnight stays).
