This Research Associate position is part of the EFRE-funded "Early Detection and Monitoring of Wound Healing" (HEALS) research project, focusing on investigating a novel sonographic system for wound healing progression. The role involves conducting scientific studies on the mechanical properties of skin and intestines, identifying relevant biological parameters, and developing pre-clinical tests. Day-to-day tasks include designing and executing patient studies, performing statistical data analysis in collaboration with partners, and documenting/publishing project results. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a background in engineering, physics, mathematics, or biology, who is eager to contribute to cutting-edge medical research, potentially pursuing a PhD, and working within an interdisciplinary team in the healthcare sector.
