Systems Engineer for Laser Systems | Systemingenieur/in für Lasersysteme (m/w/d)

Job Summary

This role involves the comprehensive development of laser systems and laser sources for multifunctional applications. Day-to-day tasks include creating and evaluating requirement specifications, developing technical concepts for new products with a focus on cost, time, and manufacturability, and performing laboratory setup, testing, and verification of laser sources and systems. The engineer will also support bid preparation for business units, assist manufacturing during the serial production ramp-up of new laser products, and coordinate various technical disciplines like mechanics, optics, electronics, and software. This position offers the opportunity to be a key technical interface to customers and external development partners, working on cutting-edge laser technology.
