Job Summary

This role is for a Database Administrator specializing in Oracle to join the Database Management team at Germany's largest pension insurance provider. The successful candidate will be instrumental in designing and maintaining the Oracle database landscape for internal and external clients, contributing to the smooth processing of pension and rehabilitation cases. Day-to-day tasks include planning and conceptualizing new Oracle product introductions, developing automation scripts, managing lab and test setups, and supporting error analysis and patching. Required Skills

Education

Completed university education (Bachelor, Diploma) in IT or equivalent qualification (e.g., IT-specific qualification, completed vocational training as an IT specialist, or comparable practical experience in IT)

Experience

  • Initial experience in SQL
  • Experience in identifying, analyzing, and resolving errors in Oracle databases
  • Experience with operating systems (Unix / Linux, Shell)
  • Experience with high-availability databases on Engineered Systems / Exadata (desirable)
