Job Summary

This role involves ensuring the smooth operation of IT infrastructure across the district administration and schools. Day-to-day tasks include setting up and maintaining workplace hardware like printers, monitors, and telephones, providing first-level support for IT issues, and configuring, documenting, and inventorying hardware. The technician will also be responsible for setting up mobile devices using Mobile Device Management (MDM). The ideal candidate will have a background in IT service and support, strong hardware and software knowledge in client environments, and familiarity with network technology. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to the digital development of the district, ensuring a modern and reliable IT operation within a supportive team environment.

Required Skills

Education

Completed vocational training as an IT Specialist for Application Development or System Integration, or as a Communication Electronics Technician, or an equivalent qualification.

Experience

  • Professional experience in IT service and support
  • Proficiency in inventory and service desk software
  • Practical experience in setting up and maintaining computer workstations

Languages

German (Fluent)
