Job Summary

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated Research Associate to join the Department of Anesthesiology, Intensive Care Medicine, Emergency Medicine, and Pain Therapy at Carl von Ossietzky University Oldenburg. The role focuses on foundational scientific studies within a molecular biology lab, specifically on translational research projects concerning hypoxic-inflammatory gene regulation and endothelial dysfunction. Day-to-day tasks involve conducting studies on biomaterials, strengthening research in endothelial dysfunction, implementing new molecular biology methods, and collaborating with various scientific groups. The successful candidate will also supervise medical-technical assistants and students, contribute to teaching, and actively participate in securing third-party funding and publishing research findings in international journals. This position offers a unique chance to contribute to cutting-edge research in a collaborative, interdisciplinary environment with strong national and international partnerships.

Required Skills

Education

Completed scientific university degree (Diplom [University]/Master), preferably in Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, or comparable fields.

Experience
