Job Summary

This role involves managing procurement processes for technical and scientific products, particularly in analytics and occasionally optics, within the German federal government's central purchasing authority. Day-to-day, the analyst will advise stakeholders on technical and procurement law aspects, draft tender and contract documents, and independently manage procurement procedures from publication to contract award. Key responsibilities also include contract management, monitoring contract execution, and analyzing market developments. Required Skills

Education

Bachelor's degree in Physics, Chemistry, Analytics, Bioanalytics, Biomedicine, Biotechnology, Laboratory Technology, Pharmaceutical Technology, Scientific/Analytical Forensics, Material Science, Materials Engineering, or other natural sciences or engineering with a focus on analytics.

Experience

  • Professional experience in procurement processes for technical and scientific products
  • Professional experience in advising stakeholders on technical and procurement law
  • Professional experience in drafting tender and contract documents
  • Professional experience in contract management and monitoring contract execution
  • Professional experience in analyzing and observing market developments
  • At least three years of practical professional experience in analytics (if not specialized in analytics during studies)
