Job Summary

The Leipzig Zoo, a leading institution in species conservation and environmental education, is seeking two dedicated Conservation Volunteers. One role focuses on supporting the European Hamster conservation project as a Project Assistant, involving both office tasks and seasonal fieldwork for one year. The second role, for six months, will assist in expanding conservation efforts in South America. Both positions involve supporting project leads in organizing events, analyzing and reporting project results, facilitating communication between partners, and contributing to external communication. University degree in Biology or comparable qualification

Experience

  • Practice-relevant professional experience in species conservation
