Job Summary
This role is for a Chemist or Natural Scientist specializing in inorganic and general instrumental analytics, focusing on surface and groundwater analysis. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing ion chromatography and measurement procedures for sum parameters (AOX, TOC, DOC, TNb). Key daily tasks include method development and validation, quality assurance, releasing analysis results in the lab data system, and coordinating routine analytics. The position also involves sample registration and coordination for forestry environmental monitoring and participation in standardization efforts. Required Skills
Education
University degree (Bachelor or FH-Diplom) in Chemistry or a comparable, relevant natural science field, or qualification for the higher technical service (since 01.07.2016: career group 2, first entry level).
Experience
- Proven experience in inorganic water analysis, specifically in the instrumental determination of sum parameters (AOX, TOC, DOC, TNb)
- Experience in ion chromatography (advantageous)
- Experience in validation and/or method development (advantageous)
- Professional experience in technical team coordination
