Metrology Technician | Messtechniker (m/w/d)

Job Summary

The Metrology Technician will be responsible for precise measurements of components and test fixtures using 3D measuring arms (tactile and optical) and standard measuring devices, based on CAD data. This role involves creating measurement plans and test concepts in collaboration with other departments, conducting dimensional analyses, and defining optimization proposals. Additionally, the technician will perform capability studies (PFU/MFU/MSA) and various functional tests (tensile tests, endurance runs, climate tests) according to customer specifications, including optimization analyses. A key part of the role is preparing, reviewing, and approving initial sample inspection reports (VDA2, PPAP) for major German automotive manufacturers. This position offers challenging and varied tasks, short decision-making processes, and significant personal responsibility within a specialized plastic injection molding company.
