Job Summary
As a Hardware Developer, you will be instrumental in the full lifecycle of medical device hardware, from initial requirements gathering to production support. Your daily tasks will involve deriving hardware requirements from system and customer needs for new developments, maintaining and enhancing existing hardware platforms, and optimizing circuit diagrams with a focus on EMC, thermal, and manufacturing aspects. You will also be responsible for prototyping, commissioning, and testing electronic components and PCBs, alongside designing and managing test systems. This role offers the chance to work in a collaborative, interdisciplinary environment within an international specialist in in-vitro diagnostics, contributing to devices used in diabetes treatment, performance diagnostics, hematology, and veterinary medicine. Required Skills
Education
Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or comparable qualification
Experience
- At least 2 years of professional experience in hardware development or a comparable role
- Proficient in using measurement devices (oscilloscope, multimeter, spectrum analyzer)
- Experience with at least one EDA tool (e.g., Altium, KiCad, Eagle)
- Practical experience in prototype construction and manufacturing support
