Job Summary
The City of Blankenburg (Harz) is seeking a dedicated and precise Clerk for Financial and Fixed Asset Accounting to join its Finance Department. In this full-time, permanent position, you will be responsible for managing incoming and outgoing invoices, maintaining master data, and generating financial overviews and budget monitoring lists. A key part of your role will involve handling SEPA direct debit mandates and meticulously recording fixed asset additions, disposals, and rebookings. You will also contribute to the planning and execution of inventories. This role is ideal for someone with a background in public administration or a comparable commercial field, who possesses strong organizational skills, a team-oriented mindset, and a solid understanding of double-entry bookkeeping. Experience with financial software, particularly "infoma newsystem kommunal," is a plus, making this an attractive opportunity for a detail-oriented professional.
