Job Summary

This role is for a Telecommunications Security Expert (Electrical Engineer) primarily based in Saarbrücken, Germany, within the "Security in Telecommunications" department. The successful candidate will be responsible for defining and evolving security requirements for telecommunication companies, assessing the implementation of protective measures, and coordinating company audits. A key part of the role involves evaluating new technologies against telecommunications law, applying and analyzing relevant norms and regulations in mobile and wired communication, and collaborating with national and international ministries and authorities. Required Skills

Education

Master's degree (300 ECTS points) or Diploma (University) in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, Information Technology, Communication Technology, Computer Science, Business Informatics, Communication Informatics, Physics, Mathematics, or a comparable field.

Experience

  • Professional experience in telecommunications and information security
  • Up-to-date knowledge of digital communication system technologies (4G, 5G) or wired networks
  • Ideally, knowledge of legal regulations related to the Telecommunications Act and IT Security Act 2.0, and basic administrative law
