Job Summary

This role involves the comprehensive planning, design, and implementation of electrical onboard cabling for various systems and subsystems on ships, including propulsion, navigation, communication, safety, and comfort systems. The specialist will be responsible for creating and maintaining electrical documentation such as circuit diagrams, cable lists, connection diagrams, and device overviews using EPLAN Electric P8. Key responsibilities also include defining connection points, selecting appropriate cable types and routes, and ensuring compliance with maritime conditions and industry standards. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in electrical engineering, practical experience in onboard cabling and cable management, and the ability to translate complex technical requirements into actionable plans.
