Job Summary

This role is for a proactive Tax Manager specializing in International Tax Compliance and Technology, based in Heidelberg, Germany, reporting to the Head of Tax Compliance. The successful candidate will be instrumental in driving the digital transformation of tax processes and providing strategic analysis for complex international tax issues faced by the German headquarters. Day-to-day responsibilities include analyzing international tax questions (especially CFC taxation), developing the tax risk management system, participating in German corporate tax audits, handling appeals, fulfilling tax declaration and documentation duties, and actively shaping digital advancements within the tax function. This position requires a strong background in German and international tax law, experience with tax risk management, and an affinity for software solutions.
