Job Summary

This role involves leading a groundbreaking R&D project focused on ultrastable microwave technology, aiming to transform innovative concepts into marketable products. The successful candidate will be instrumental in the implementation and characterization of prototypes, coordinating collaborations with external partners, and constructing intricate laser systems encompassing free-space and fiber optics, mode-locked fiber lasers, frequency combs, vacuum components, and control electronics. Required Skills

Education

Ph.D. in Physics, Photonics, Laser Technology, Electrical Engineering, or a related field

Experience

  • Postdoctoral research experience OR 2-3 years of industrial experience in the high-tech sector
  • Several years of project management experience
  • Comprehensive knowledge of mode-locked lasers, optical frequency combs, ultra-stable and CW lasers, high-finesse cavities, and stabilization electronics
