Job Summary

This role involves hands-on molecular biological work within an operational shift system, adhering strictly to GCP for Labs and GMP guidelines. Key responsibilities include nucleic acid isolation, DNA/RNA library preparation, and Next-Generation Sequencing. The successful candidate will be meticulous in documenting processes using electronic data management systems (MES, LIMS) and paper-based instructions, following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). The position also entails managing equipment responsibilities and participating in on-call duties for refrigeration units. Ideal candidates will have a scientific-technical background, experience in molecular biology techniques, and a willingness to work shifts, including holidays. Required Skills

Education

Completed scientific-technical vocational training as a Biology Laboratory Assistant, Medical Technical Laboratory Assistant (MTLA), Biological Technical Assistant (BTA), Bachelor's degree in Biology, or comparable qualification

Experience

  • Experience in performing molecular biological work (e.g., PCR, magnetic bead purification)
  • Experience in GCP for Labs / GMP area or with other regulations (desirable)
