Job Summary
This role involves leading the Planning Department for a regional energy and utility provider in Elmshorn. You will provide both professional and disciplinary leadership to a team of 12 employees, overseeing network and facility planning, documentation, and asset management. Key responsibilities include developing and implementing network strategies, managing investment and economic planning, and overseeing project execution from planning to final accounting. You will also be responsible for training dual-study students and representing the company in professional associations. This position is ideal for an experienced engineer with a strong background in utility infrastructure or building services who excels at managing complex technical projects and leading teams. Required Skills
Education
University degree in Electrical Engineering, Utility Engineering, or a comparable qualification.
Experience
- Several years of practical experience in planning, asset management, and project engineering within the utility sector or engineering consulting.
- Professional leadership experience, including experience in project management.
- Experience in managing complex technical projects and presenting findings to diverse stakeholders.
- Proven ability to handle communication in critical situations.

- Must hold a valid Class B driver's license. Residency within the Elmshorn supply area or surrounding municipalities is required for short-term availability. Participation in incident management is mandatory.
