Job Summary
As an Electrical Technician at OGE, you will play a critical role in maintaining the reliability of gas measurement infrastructure, ensuring the seamless operation of systems for natural gas, hydrogen, and CO2. Your day-to-day responsibilities include monitoring gas measurement data, conducting analysis to identify deviations, and managing maintenance tasks using SAP IH-PM. You will be involved in the full lifecycle of gas measurement projects, from initial planning and construction to final commissioning. This position offers the unique opportunity to contribute to Germany's energy transition while working in a collaborative, forward-thinking environment. You will work independently on small renovation projects and participate in an on-call service rotation. The role is ideal for a proactive professional looking to grow into future leadership opportunities within gas measurement technology.
Required Skills
Education
Completed technical vocational training, ideally as a state-certified technician (e.g., in Measurement and Control Technology, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Chemical Engineering) or equivalent Master Craftsman qualification.
Experience
- Professional experience in measurement technology
- Experience in gas measurement is considered an advantage
- Experience in maintenance and technical project management
- Initial experience working with SAP systems

Additional
- Valid Class B (or BE) driver's license required. Willingness to participate in on-call duty and travel within the service area (including occasional overnight stays).
