Job Summary
The University City of Landau is seeking a dedicated IT System Administrator to join their main IT department. This role involves the planning and continuous development of software distribution, creation of software packages, and the design and implementation of electronic workflows. The successful candidate will manage migration processes, provide second-level support for schools, and administer a wide range of IT systems across the administration. Key responsibilities include ensuring high availability and security of IT systems, performing IT service management tasks like incident resolution, and contributing to various projects aimed at optimizing and enhancing IT applications. This position offers an opportunity to significantly contribute to the digitalization efforts within a dynamic public sector environment.
Required Skills
Education
University of Applied Sciences or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or comparable IT-related fields OR vocational training as an IT Specialist for System Integration or comparable qualification.
Experience
- At least 3 years of experience in IT Service Management and IT System Administration (if holding a vocational IT qualification)
- Professional experience with administrative IT applications (advantageous)
- Professional experience with software distribution systems (advantageous)
