Job Summary
This role involves providing essential 2nd level IT support, focusing on the installation, monitoring, and maintenance of hardware and software across production and administration environments, both in-house and for clients. The successful candidate will manage the entire server and network infrastructure, including Windows and Linux servers, network components, and firewalls. Key responsibilities also include configuring and maintaining IT systems, resolving IT support tickets, and independently planning and executing internal IT projects. A strong background in end-user support, Active Directory administration, and cloud system management is crucial for this dynamic position. The role offers a chance to contribute to process optimization and documentation within an innovative and supportive team.
Required Skills
Education
Vocational training (e.g., IT Specialist) or a degree in IT, or equivalent experience as a career changer in IT support
Experience
- Technical experience in onsite and remote support for end-users
- Experience in managing Windows Workstations/Laptops with MS Office, customer-specific software, and production environments
- Experience with Mobile Devices
- Detailed knowledge of Windows Client operating systems, local applications, and client hardware (notebooks, workstations, PCs) and their peripherals
