Job Summary

This role involves the administration, monitoring, and continuous development of cloud services, including private, hybrid, and public cloud environments. The Cloud Engineer will specifically work with microservice-based applications and those leveraging artificial intelligence. A key responsibility is to adapt and evolve existing Dev(Sec)Ops concepts for cloud platforms. Additionally, the role includes providing expert consultation to other departments on the operational deployment of cloud services. This position is ideal for a professional with a strong background in cloud technologies, containerization, and orchestration, looking to contribute to critical public sector infrastructure within a dynamic team.

Required Skills

Education

Completed university degree (FH/Bachelor) in (Business) Informatics, Data Science, or a comparable IT-related field; alternatively, a completed IT-related vocational training.

Experience

  • Professional experience with major hyperscaler cloud services (AWS, Azure), ideally with certifications
  • Professional experience in container and cloud orchestration in Linux environments
  • Initial experience with cloud-related technologies (e.g., GitLab, Sonatype Nexus, Ansible)
  • At least 4 years of professional experience in a comparable IT-related field (if no degree)
