Job Summary

This role involves providing comprehensive onsite technical support for a leading European IT service provider at their client site, the German Aerospace Center (DLR). As an Onsite IT Technician, you will be responsible for the full lifecycle of client hardware, including installation, configuration, and rollouts. Your daily activities will include troubleshooting Windows client environments, managing user support tickets, and maintaining asset data. Beyond standard desktop support, you will play a key role in network projects by setting up and expanding network components, as well as configuring peripherals like printers and scanners. This position is ideal for service-oriented professionals who enjoy a mix of hardware interaction and software troubleshooting. Required Skills

Education

Completed vocational training as an IT Specialist for System Integration (Fachinformatiker Systemintegration), IT Systems Electronician, or a comparable technical qualification.

Experience

  • Professional experience with Windows clients and hardware troubleshooting
  • Practical experience in network component support and expansion
  • Experience working with MS Server and Linux/Ubuntu operating systems
  • Proven background in technical customer service and user support
