Job Summary

This role involves the end-to-end development and implementation of control systems for innovative special-purpose machinery. As a PLC Programmer, you will be responsible for programming Siemens S7 and TIA Portal systems, developing HMI interfaces using WinCC Unified, and designing robust safety concepts. A significant portion of the role includes the commissioning of these systems at international client sites, where you will also optimize drive systems, sensors, and frequency converters. This position is ideal for a technical expert who enjoys a mix of office-based development and hands-on field work. Required Skills

Education

Completed degree or technician qualification in Automation Technology, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a comparable field.

Experience

  • At least 5 years of professional experience in PLC programming specifically with Siemens S7 and TIA Portal
  • Professional experience in the development, testing, and optimization of control and safety concepts
  • Experience in commissioning industrial plants at customer sites both nationally and internationally
  • Experience with modular software architectures and structured testing procedures
  • Experience in parameterizing drive systems and frequency converters
