Job Summary
This role involves comprehensive management of a company's IT infrastructure within a stable family-owned business environment. As the primary IT Administrator, you will be responsible for the day-to-day monitoring and maintenance of VMware and Unifi systems, managing the MS 365 environment (including Azure and Exchange Online), and ensuring robust IT security via Sophos. Beyond standard hardware and software maintenance for employee workstations, you will oversee specialized systems such as electronic fueling records, key cabinets, door locking systems, and video surveillance. The position also requires the administration of ERP and tracking software, alongside the expansion of the Docuware document management system. This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive professional who enjoys a broad range of technical responsibilities, from network administration to website maintenance, within a modern workplace offering flat hierarchies and innovative projects.
Required Skills
Education
Successfully completed vocational training in IT (e.g., IT Systems Integration, IT Systems Management) or a commercial field with a strong IT focus.
Experience
- Professional experience with software-based applications and databases
- Practical experience in IT infrastructure monitoring and maintenance
- Experience in managing Microsoft 365 environments including Azure and Exchange
- Proven track record in IT security management and backup procedures
- Experience in hardware procurement and employee workstation support
- Advanced knowledge in programming languages
