Job Summary
As an Electrical Engineering Technician, you will play a vital role in the installation and commissioning of photovoltaic (PV) systems across Austria. Your daily responsibilities include the standard-compliant setup of electrical installations based on technical specifications, the mounting of inverters, cable routes, and distribution or transformer cabinets, as well as performing DC cabling. You will also assist with roof-mounted installations and collaborate with grid operators for system commissioning. This role is ideal for a hands-on professional who enjoys a mix of technical precision and physical installation work. Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training in the field of electrical engineering or an equivalent qualification.
Experience
- Professional experience in a comparable electrical position preferred
- Experience in the installation and assembly of electrical distribution cabinets and cable routes
- Experience in the commissioning of energy systems, specifically PV systems
- Proven track record of independent work and organizational skills
Languages
Additional
- Valid Class B driver's license and willingness to drive light transporters required; high level of travel readiness within Austria; must have sufficient German skills to understand safety instructions and communicate with the team.
